A few weeks ago I had lunch at Bravo Restaurant at Friendly Center. As I was pondering the menu deciding what to eat, the Pasta Bravo or the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese were calling my name but I couldn’t bring myself to eat that many calories. I made myself look at Bravo’s Light Menu and, with a grumble on my face, I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi at 570 calories.
I felt like it took awhile for my lunch to be ready or maybe I was just very hungry but finally my entree was brought to the table. I took a first bite… wow, that was delicious! I couldn’t believe how tasty the dish was. The mahi mahi was grilled to perfection and was flavorful and not salty at all, only fresh flavor. The fish was served with cous cous mixed with zucchini, sugar snap peas, grape tomatoes and arugula and finished off with lemon butter. I ate everything off my plate including the zucchini which I normally dislike but the zucchini in this dish were delicious. Delicious!
I’m looking forward to going back to Bravo to enjoy the Grilled Mahi Mahi again. It’s wonderful to find a dish that is healthy and nutritious, doesn’t break the calorie bank and it’s the most delicious! Bravo, job well done!
